Common Questions
Can't you just add gas?
We can, but if the gas escaped there's a leak. Refilling without fixing it means you pay again in a few months. We find the leak first.
Why does it cool at night but not in the day?
Usually a marginal refrigerant charge or a dirty condenser. It copes when it's cooler outside and can't keep up at 45°C.
The unit runs constantly but never gets cold. Why?
Common causes are low refrigerant, a badly clogged coil, or a unit that was undersized for the room from the start.
